Please join The Royal Pain Shakespeare Co. for a reading of Patrick Gabridge's moving new play, DRIFT directed by Deb Linehan.
Friday, February 22, 2019 - The Drama League - 32 6th Ave., Manhattan - Doors open at 7 pm, Curtain at 7:30 pm.
DRIFT - In the aftermath of a deadly pesticide drift, two very different families on very different farms struggle to overcome overwhelming loss of life, land, and love. Can they find a way to move forward, or will the force of their grief shatter them completely? Drift finds dark poetry in how we relate to the land around us and how we grow food in contemporary America.

The Royal Pain Shakespeare Co. is a collaboration of working actors, writers, performing artists, and philanthropists dedicated to producing creative and thought-provoking theatre. Our goals are to create community through performing arts, promote new scripts and new authors, and give back by donating a portion of our main stage performance proceeds to humanitarian causes. Our name is derived from the belief that the next "Shakespeare" will not be an individual but arise from the work it takes to collaborate and grow in community.
